Overview
The AILA 2008 Annual Conference abounds with special events and opportunities to network with the thousands of members and government officials in attendance. Start the Conference on the right foot with the Wednesday evening Grand Opening Gala! In between sessions on Thursday, take in the Opening Plenary session in the morning and the Annual Membership meeting and Presidents Reception in the evening. Meet the newest members of AILA at the Young Lawyers Division Reception on Friday night after a vigorous day of learning. Join your colleagues for special brown-bag lunch sessions. Finish up strong on Saturday by starting out your day with Breakfast with the Experts. Wrap up the Conference by meeting the winners at the Annual Awards Presentation and dance the night away at the Saturday Night Party and Jazz Café!
On Friday evening, you won't want to miss the American Immigration Law Foundation's Annual Event. Tickets are required for this event and can be purchased using the registration form. Seating is limited so we encourage you to purchase your tickets in advance. Stop by AILF’S Booth on Saturday, June 28 from 9:30 am–11:00 am for a book signing with author and artist, Belle Yang. Belle will also be honored at AILF’s Annual Event.
In addition, there are a number of other events like special interest groups and Chapter business meetings. There are plenty of chances - from large groups to smaller crowds - where you can meet with other practitioners. If your Chapter or AILA interest group would like to reserve meeting space during the Annual Conference (available on a first come, first serve basis), please contact conferences@aila.org
