The American Immigration Law Foundation (AILF) invites all conference attendees to join the celebration on Friday, June 27, 2008. Tickets are $150 and are required for this event. Tickets can be purchased using the registration form
The evening’s award ceremony will recognize the contributions of the following individuals: Belle Yang, author, illustrator and activist; and Ms. Deepa Mehta, film director and screenwriter. A special community service award will be presented to the Microsoft Corporation. Mr. Ian Hanomansing of the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation will host the evening as Master of Ceremonies. This uplifting evening event includes dinner, awards ceremony, and entertainment.

The money raised from the Annual AILF Benefit supports AILF's ongoing mission of increasing public understanding of immigration law and policy, and the value immigration brings to the American society; to promoting public service and excellence in the practice of immigration law; and to advancing fundamental fairness and due process under the law for immigrants. Through the Immigration Policy Center, Legal Action Center, the Curriculum Center for educators and students, the Exchange Visitor Program, as well as various awards programs and many other initiatives, the Foundation provides a positive message about immigrants and immigration to policy makers, educators, and the general public.
