  • INS IIRAIRA Violation (4/1/1997)
    Federal District Court Judge Emmet Sullivan ruled late yesterday (Monday March 31st) that INS had violated the statute (IIRAIRA) in failing to promulgate regulations a full 30 days prior to the April 1st effective date.
  • Court Strikes Several DOL LCA Regulations in NAM (7/23/1996)
    D.C. District Court Invalidates Numerous LCA Regulations: In a major victory against the burdensome regulatory scheme imposed by the Department of Labor on the H-1B program, Judge Royce Lamberth invalidated many of the most objectionable of the DOL’s LCA regulations.
