DOJ Inspector General Finds Premium Processing Program Delays Routine Adjudications

An audit of the INS’s Premium Processing Program conducted by the DOJ Inspector General found, among other things, that the program has adversely impacted the time required to adjudicate routine applications and petitions, resulting in more applicants paying the $1,000 Premium Processing fee to ensure timely adjudication.
