The following was in a recent email notification.

The Board has added two new appendices to the BIA Practice Manual:

Appendix I, "Telephonic Information," is a handy reference to the two telephonic information lines maintained by EOIR.  Recently renamed, ASQ is the 800 number for pending case information, and BIA TIPS is the filing information line for appeals and motions before the Board.  The Appendix can be found at http://www.usdoj.gov/eoir/bia/qapracmanual/appendI.pdf

Appendix J, "Citations Guidelines," advises the public on how best to cite cases, laws, regulations, and other authorities when filing an appeal, motion, or brief with the Board.  This Appendix contains both citation guidelines and examples of frequently cited sources of law.  The Appendix can be found at  http://www.usdoj.gov/eoir/bia/qapracmanual/appendJ.pdf
