  • Machine Readable Passport Requirement Deferred for 21 Countries (9/25/2003)
    DOS announces that the requirement that travelers have machine readable passports to be admitted under the visa waiver program is postponed until 10/26/04 for 21 countries. Five countries did not request postponement, and Belgium was not eligible.
