Commission on Immigration Policy, Practice, and Pro Bono
As part of its mission, the ABA Commission on Immigration Policy, Practice, and Pro Bono provides continuing education and timely information about trends, court decisions, and pertinent developments: and develops and assists the ongoing operation of pro bono programs that encourage volunteer lawyers to provide high quality, effective legal representation for individuals in immigration courts.

EOIR initiatives to improve access to attorneys for immigrants appearing before the Immigration Courts and the Board of Immigration Appeals.

The Pro Bono Institute
The Pro Bono Institute, housed at Georgetown University Law Center, is "mandated to explore and identify new approaches to-and resources for-the provision of legal services to the poor, disadvantaged, and other individuals or groups unable to secure legal assistance to address critical problems."

Executive Office of Immigration Review (EOIR)
Includes the Immigration Courts and Board of Immigration Appeals. Obtain local court rules, practice manuals, EOIR forms, and case decisions at this site.

National Center for Refugee & Immigrant Children Legal Resource Library
USCRI makes these materials available to practitioners representing immigrant children, policymakers, researchers, and other individuals interested in resources relating to the work of the Center. This website is a compilation of general helpful resources, which have been shared with USCRI, including immigration court filings, internet resources for immigration and human rights organizations, and informative links about immigration law and procedures.

Immigration Legal Resource Center (ILRC)
An expansive resource of immigration training materials, publications and expertise.

National Lawyers Guild/National Immigration Project
The National Immigration Project is a network of immigration lawyers, law students, jailhouse lawyers, and legal workers who work to end unlawful immigration practices, to recognize the contributions of immigrants in the country, to promote fair immigration practices, and to expand the civil and human rights of all immigrants, regardless of their status in the United States.

National Immigration Law Center (NILC)
The NILC is a national support center whose mission is to protect and promote the rights and opportunities of low income immigrants and their family members. NILC staff specializes in immigration law and the employment and public benefits rights of immigrants.

National Network for Immigrant and Refugee Rights (NNIRR)
The NNIRR is a national organization composed of local coalitions and immigrant, refugee community, religious, civil rights and labor organizations, and activists. It serves as a forum to share information and analysis, to educate communities and the general public, and to develop and coordinate plans of action on important immigrant and refugee issues.

Northwest Immigrant Rights Project
Northwest Immigrant Rights Project (NWIRP) advances the legal rights and dignity of low-income immigrants in Washington State by pursuing and preserving their legal status through legal representation, education and public policy.

Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean
ECLAC was founded through the United Nations in order to contribute to the economic development of Latin America, to coordinate actions directed towards this end, and to reinforce economic relationships among the countries and with other nations of the world.

Human Development Reports
Contain region specific information about human development, human rights, poverty, education, economic reform, HIV/AIDS, and globalization.

ProBAR: South Texas Pro Bono Asylum Representation Project
ProBAR, a joint project of the ABA, the State Bar of Texas and AILA, offers volunteer opportunities for new and experienced immigration lawyers to assist asylum seekers at the South Texas border.

The United Nations Development Fund for Women (UNIFEM) provides financial and technical assistance to innovative programs and strategies to foster women's empowerment and gender equality. The central website at www.UNIFEM.org has links to region specific information and resources.
