There is so much more to San Francisco than just a bridge. Not that the icon shouldn’t be on your to-see list, but San Francisco is a mecca of culture and history that is unsurpassed. Did you know that Alcatraz, which once famously housed the notorious Al Capone, was also the site of the first lighthouse built on the Pacific Coast? Or that those famous cable cars are the only moving historical landmark? How about that the city, well known for its coffee, was where “Irish” coffee was first concocted?

There is so much to see and do in San Francisco that not only is there something for everyone, there likely won’t be enough time to see it all! But if you have to pick and choose, here are some suggestions for you:
