Greg Chen

Biography

Gregory Chen is director of advocacy for AILA. Prior to joining AILA, he served three years as director for legislative affairs with Lutheran Immigration and Refugee Service and three years as director for policy and advocacy at the U.S. Committee for Refugees and Immigrants. He served five years in San Francisco at Legal Services for Children ,representing children in detention and removal proceedings and other immigration matters, as well as in child welfare, juvenile delinquency, and education law proceedings. He is a graduate of Harvard College and NYU Law School, and clerked for the Honorable Stephen Reinhardt of the U.S. Court of Appeals.
