USCIS Invitation to NSC Stakeholder Call on 10/10/13 on Student and School Issues (Updated 10/7/13)

Good afternoon.

Just a reminder that on Thursday, October 10, we will be holding our monthly local stakeholder call. This month’s topic is Student/School and Other, and I am attaching a list of questions which were submitted for the call. The call will take place at 10:00 a.m. Central.

Good afternoon.

The Nebraska Service Center will be holding its next stakeholder teleconference on Thursday, October 10, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. (Central). This teleconference will be reserved for issues relating to Students and School, and Other Issues. Students/School and Other includes the following topics:

  • I-765 student classifications and classifications other than (c)(9), (a)(5), and (c)(8)
  • N-400
  • I-821
  • Legalization/I-817
  • I-102
  • I-824 (general)
  • I-131 Reentry Permits/Refugee Travel Documents
  • N-565
  • I-601
  • I-824 as appropriate
  • Waivers as appropriate

The deadline for submission of students and school-related questions and questions on other issues is Tuesday, October 1. You can submit questions directly to ceo.nsc@dhs.gov.

Please note that this call is part of a series of informal monthly stakeholder calls held by NSC to discuss products worked by this center. This is not a venue for case specific inquiries, for questions relating to overall USCIS policy, or questions regarding forms or processes of offices other than NSC.

Call-in information will be provided closer to the teleconference date.

Please note that an RSVP is not required to participate in these local teleconferences; call-in information is sent out to everyone on the distribution list. If you are not currently on the distribution list but would like to be, simply send an email to ceo.nsc@dhs.gov with your information.
