State Dept. advises AILA's DOS Liaison Chair Liam Schwartz that it has reevaluated its previously articulated view and, together with USCIS, has come to the view that only those who were already in L-1 classification prior to 6/6/05 are grandfathered with respect to qualifying with only 6 months' employment.
