Conference Program

This interactive workshop will feature six key business related topics in a format and learning environment that have been designed to ensure that each participant leaves this conference with answers to his or her questions and practical solutions to everyday case challenges. The conference room will be organized in a roundtable style seating for the attendees. Each workshop/panel will include a 45-minute formal presentation by a panel of 3 leading experts. The presentation will then be followed by a 30-minute roundtable and interactive discussion during which attendees will work through a case hypothetical, share their perspectives on the problem and then interact with the panel on legal and practical questions that result from the discussion. To help facilitate this dialogue, we are also inviting AILA members with expertise in the business related immigration field to serve as table discussion leaders. These experts will lead the roundtable discussions and then assist the faculty in concluding the workshop by relaying the conclusions drawn during the discussions. We hope by combining structured presentations with hands on case analysis, the program will advance the attendees’ critical strategic thinking as well as help them provide real solutions for their clients' common and not so common situations.
