Do I get anything other than a listing of my job opportunity?

Yes! Employers with an active job listing on the site can review resumes in the database, set up a resume search agent (notification of when new resumes are posted on the site that match criteria you set up), edit the job listing at any time during the 30 days, and can review the statistics of the job they have posted.

How quickly will my listing appear once I have submitted the text and payment information?

All listings go through an approval process. All ads are approved within 48 hours (2 business days), but usually sooner. Submitting a job on National holidays or weekends may delay approval of the listing. Once the ad has been approved, it will appear on the site.

AILA will not accept listings from any person or entity (including, but not limited to, for-profit immigration consultants and "notarios") who provides representation without authorization in violation of 8 CFR §§1.1(j), 292, 1001(j), and 1292, in violation of the laws of any state or territory of the United States, or through the sale of immigration-related legal services via the Internet or other form of interstate commerce unless such person or entity is an attorney, law firm, or corporation authorized to practice law in a state or territory of the United States.

There is no cost to job seekers who would like to post their resume. Please note that resumes can be reviewed by an employer with an active listing on the site.

Can job listings (or my resume) be posted confidentially?

Yes. Please follow the instructions for posting information confidentially.

What happens if my ad is rejected?

There are a number of reasons why an ad may be rejected. The most common reason is that the credit card used was declined (transposed numbers or incorrect expiration date submitted). In that case, a Customer Service representative will contact you for the correct information. If your ad was rejected for content reasons, you will be contacted for clarification about why the ad was denied and a full refund will be issued.
