Carl Levin, Assistant AG Daniel Bryant disclosed that the INS has detained 752 individuals on immigration violations in connection with the 9/11 terrorist attacks, and the EOIR has subjected 611 individuals to closed hearings pursuant to a 9/21/01 directive from Chief Judge Creppy.
