Cite as "AILA InfoNet Doc. No. 06032717 (posted Mar. 27, 2006)"

Earlier today, President Bush delivered remarks on immigration at a naturalization ceremony here in Washington, D.C. Speaking about a comprehensive immigration reform plan, the President said that “Congress needs to pass a comprehensive bill that secures the border, improves interior enforcement, and creates a temporary worker program to strengthen our security and our economy. Completing a comprehensive bill is not going to be easy. It will require all of us in Washington to make tough choices and make compromises. And that is exactly what the American people sent us here to do.”
