The Department of State has informed AILA that the U.S. consulate in Casablanca closed today for a security review, following last week's terrorist attacks in the city.

The consulate will continue to provide emergency services to American citizens. Processing of visa applications may be possible in true emergency cases.

The duration of this closure is not yet known. AILA Liaison will provide further updates when available.
