Why E Petitions Are Not on the CSC Processing Time Report

The following is an excerpt from an email from a CSC representative to the AILA-CSC Liaison Chair, Grace Zimmerman:

“The omission of the I-129 Es was not an oversight on behalf of CSC. The Processing Time Report (PRT) is a standardized reporting format that is produced by Headquarters. Unfortunately, the I-129 Es are not included on the PRT. However, the processing time for I-129 Es as of 11/19/02 is 7/26/02.”

The CSC is looking into whether or not Headquarters can make modifications to the Processing Time Report to include I-129 Es.
