  • USCIS to Make Travel Documents More Secure (11/24/2003)
    A USCIS News Release dated 11/24/03 announces the production of a newly redesigned travel document, incorporating increased security features aimed at eliminating counterfeit documents. The new document replaces the existing refugee travel document and reentry permit for LPRs. Travel documents and reentry permits currently in circulation will remain valid until their expiration dates.

  • BCIS Announces Latest H1-B Petition Statistics for FY 2003(86 KB - 8/27/2003)
    During the first three quarters of FY 2003, the Bureau of Citizenship and Immigration Service (BCIS) approved 56,986 H1-B petitions subject to the numerical cap and 84,534 cap-exempt H1-B petitions.
