Practice Alert: DOS Explains Removal of Updated 9 FAM 40.63

DOS informed AILA that the update to 9 FAM 40.63 on 3/12/13, which stated that a minor who makes a false claim to citizenship is not inadmissible under INA 212(a)(6)(C)(ii) if he or she lacked legal capacity to make the claim, was removed as it was published prematurely. AILA Doc. No. 13052161.
