Rewards for Justice Program
Question: Are informants eligible for U.S. immigration or protection?
Answer: Informants are eligible for certain protections afforded under U.S.
law. This may include the issuance of a visa to the informant and/or
relocation of the individual and dependents. The informant must make a request
for such protection.
The determination of eligibility for such protection falls under theauthority
of the Department of Justice.
