  • Resumption of Social Security No-Match Letters: Employers Beware(76 KB - 4/12/2011)
    The AILA Verification & Documentation Liaison Committee alerts members that effective April 6, 2011, SSA has resumed sending “no-match” letters advising employers when an employee is using a social security number that does not coincide with SSA records.

  • SSA Clarifies Policy on Issuance of SSNs to USC Children Born at U.S. Hospitals to Undocumented Parents(22 KB - 1/15/2010)
    AILA members representing hospitals as well as AILA members representing undocumented families have had problems getting SSN cards issued to U.S. citizen children born in U.S. hospitals.
