  • Puerto Rico Birth Certificate Law Information (5/6/2010)

    The American Bar Association (ABA) issued a statement on the federal district court ruling in ABA v. Federal Trade Commission. According to the ABA statement, the "court recognized that the FTC's interpretation of the Fair and Accurate Credit Transactions Act over-reaches and its application to lawyers is unreasonable."   • NIBF Partnership to Help Low-Income Immigrant Families in North Carolina(198 KB - 9/1/2009)
    On September 1, 2009, the National Immigrant Bond Fund launched a partnership with the Southern Coalition for Social Justice to provide legal and bond assistance to low-income immigrants.
