    The Transactional Records Access Clearinghouse (TRAC) issued a report titled Backlogged Immigration Matters Climb, finding that pending cases backlogged in immigration courts reached 228,421 matters in the first months of FY2010.

  • TRAC Report: Immigration Case Backlog Continues to Grow (5/25/2010)
    Transactional Records Access Clearinghouse (TRAC) issued a report finding that the number of cases awaiting resolution before the immigration courts reached 242,776 matters at the end of March 2010. The average length of time cases have been waiting increased to 443 days.

  • TRAC Reports Immigration Prosecutions Once More on the Rise (6/16/2010)
    TRAC issued a news release on an increase in federal immigration prosecutions. According to TRAC, recent DOJ figures indicate that there were 8,287 immigration prosecutions in March 2010, more than in any month since July 2009.
