How to Read CSC JIT Reports

· “Case date” is comprised of the fiscal year (first two digits) and the number of the “work day” of the fiscal year (the next three digits). “Work day” excludes Saturday, Sunday, and holidays unless overtime is worked on those days.

· “Date entry” means the receipt date of the last case taken from the shelf assigned to the officer as of the date of the JIT Report. It is essentially a translation of the “case date” into a calendar date. It does not mean that the case is adjudicated on that date. Therefore, to make an inquiry, you must wait 30 days from that date.

· “Vacant” means that no application is on the shelf, but the officer may still have it on his/her desk.
