Text of the Save Our Small and Seasonal Business Act of 2007
The Save Our Small and Seasonal Business Act of 2007 (S. 988) was introduced by Senator Mikulski (D-MD) on 3/26/07. This bill would extend the exemption of returning workers from the numerical limitations for H-2B temporary workers for five years.
Representative Stupak (D-MI) introduced a similar bill (H.R. 1843) in the House of Representatives on 3/29/07; however his bill would make the exemption permanent.
