AILA Doc. No. 19050930 | Dated January 27, 2020
In 2019, AILA launched a new digital media campaign called Liberty on the Move. Similar to Flat Stanley, the goal of this campaign is for our members to take photos with Lady Liberty during their adventures as immigration lawyers—whether it be at an AILA conference, on a congressional visit, or during their day-to-day practice—and then post them on social media using the hashtag #LibertyOnTheMove.
So far, our members have used Liberty on the Move to document their experience at AILA's 2019 National Day of Action (NDA) and at AILA's 2019 Annual Conference. This year, Lady Liberty will be making a reappearance at the 2020 National Day of Action! We will be handing out copies of Lady Liberty to AILA chapters so members can take photos with her as they go to their Congressional meetings throughout the day. If you have a copy of Lady Liberty from last year, we encourage you to bring it with you to NDA!
We are not currently mailing out copies of Liberty on the Move, but you can engage by checking out the hashtag #LibertyOnTheMove on social media or downloading the Facebook profile frame for the campaign.
