AILA Annual Conference Kicks Off in Nashville

NASHVILLE, TN - The American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) will host its 56th Annual Conference beginning Wednesday in Nashville, TN. Approximately 2,500 attendees from around the world are convening at the Gaylord Opryland Resort in Nashville June 13-16, 2012.
The event will feature more than 100 workshops, seminars and presentations from distinguished legal minds and practitioners, strategic discussions about immigration advocacy at the legislative and administrative levels, opportunities to engage authors of popular legal publications, and over 100 exhibitors.
Conference attendees will be welcomed by The Honorable Karl Dean, Mayor of Nashville; the featured keynote presentation will be made by Director of the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services, Alejandro Mayorkas.
Participants will have the opportunity to learn about recent developments in immigration law and policy, such as:
