Chile and Singapore FTAs Impact Immigration Laws
Immigration-related provisions contained in the administration's free trade agreements (FTAs) with Chile (H.R. 2738) and Singapore (H.R. 2739). The FTAs were approved by the House on July 24th and by the Senate on July 31st. Included within the immigration provisions of the bills is a country-specific numerical limit on H-1B visas.
