Attorney General Extends Deadline for Amicus Briefs on Lozada Standards

The Attorney General directed the BIA to refer to him for review three cases involving Lozada standards with respect to ineffective assistance of counsel. AILF's Legal Action Center was invited to submit an amicus brief. On 9/8/08 the Attorney General extended the submission deadline to 10/6/08.
