DOJ Letters Requesting Documentation of Compliance with 8 USC §1373

DOJ issued letters to officials singled out by OIG for regulations that interfere with the ability of police or sheriffs to communicate with federal immigration authorities about the status of prisoners in their custody, requesting documentation that they are in compliance with 8 USC §1373.
