Temporary Closure of U.S. Embassy and Consulates in Pakistan

The U.S. Embassy in Islamabad and the U.S. Consulates General in Lahore, Karachi and Peshawar have been closed until further notice except for emergency U.S. Citizen services. Closures were ordered due to possible violent demonstrations.
