DOS Cable on K-1 Fiance I-129F Petitions Recalled by DHS

DOS cable stating that DHS did not meet the 3/5/06 deadline to begin asking K-1 fiancé petitioners for criminal background information and some petitions were approved in error. DHS has requested that posts return to NVC all K-1 I-129F petitions with priority dates on or after 3/6/06.
