Dear Ms. Strizhak:

I am writing to inform you that as of March 1, 1995 I-730 Refugee/Asylee Petitions will be processed through the National Visa Center (NVC) at 32 Rochester Avenue, Portsmouth, New Hampshire 03801-2909, instead of the Department of State Visa Office.

The Visa Office will continue to exercise overall management of the Visas 92/93 process but will no longer be involved in the transfer of petitions to posts overseas or routine inquires on the status of individual cases. The National Visa Center, phone (603) 334 0700, will be the point of contact for questions of this nature.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank you and all the members of the Working Group for your assistance on Visas 93 cases.

Matthew C. Victor
Post Liaison Officer
