DOS Suspends Consular Services in Nassau, The Bahamas

With Hurricane Irene expected to hit land on 8/25/11, the U.S. Embassy in Nassau, The Bahamas has suspended all regular consular services, including visa interviews, until further notice. DOS has also approved the authorized departure of dependents of U.S. Embassy personnel.
