FY2007 H-1B Advanced Degree Cap Usage Figures Exceed 14,000

USCIS updated the current cap count on July 6, 2006, based upon a count conducted on June 30. As of June 30, USCIS counted 13,687 U.S. Advanced Degree exemption petitions. Note, however, that there were an additional 500 U.S. Advanced Degree exemption petitions received but not yet data-entered. If history is our guide, members should expect to see a steady increase in submissions now that will continue until the cap is reached.
