P.L. 115-298: Making Further Continuing Appropriations for Fiscal Year 2019, and for Other Purposes

On 12/07/18, the President signed H.J. Res. 143 into law (P.L. 115-298) to provide continuing FY2019 appropriations to several federal agencies, including DHS, DOS and DOL, through 12/21/18.


On 12/7/18, the U.S. House of Representatives and U.S. Senate passed a Continuing Resolution (H.J. Res. 143). This is a clean extension of the previous Continuing Resolution (P.L. 115-245) that would also extend the Religious Worker, Conrad 30, EB-5, and E-Verify programs through 12/21/18.


On 12/3/18, the U.S. House Appropriations Committee introduced H. J. Res 143, the "Making Further Continuing Appropriations for Fiscal Year 2019, and for other purposes." This joint resolution would amend the Continuing Appropriations Act, 2019 (P.L. 115-245) to provide continuing FY2019 appropriations to several federal agencies, including DHS, DOS and DOL, through 12/21/18.
