ICE Celebrates Opening of 287(g) Training Facility

On 6/16/08, ICE announced the opening of the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center's new 287(g) training facility. ICE noted that the 287(g) program is named after § 287(g) of the INA, which authorizes ICE to train local officers to enforce immigration law.
