Sign-on Letter on Reasonable Solution to the H-1B Blackout and Lengthy “Green Card” Backlogs

Nearly 800 U.S. businesses and universities signed a letter supporting the Senate proposal, initially included in the budget reconciliation bill, to recapture unused H-1B and employment-based visa numbers. This letter was delivered to both the Senate and the House in November and December 2005.
