Senator Leahy’s Statement on His Adopted Amendment to Not Bar Individuals Based on Their Religion

On 12/10/15, Senator Patrick Leahy (D-VT) released a statement on his amendment that prohibits the U.S. government from barring any individual from entering the country based on their religion, after it was adopted by the Senate Judiciary Committee.
