USCIS Announces Changes Benefiting Prospective Adoptive Parents

On 8/6/07 USCIS announced that changes benefiting prospective adoptive parents were implemented on 7/30/07, because the processing of orphan petitions, Form I-600, may take longer than the current valid approval period of Form I-600A. The USCIS Update is followed by FAQs.
