Chapter Dues

Chapter Dues

AILA’s Bylaws require all Members to maintain membership in the Chapter that has geographical jurisdiction over the principal place of business of the Member. This requirement does not apply to Members if no Chapter has jurisdiction over the principal place of business (or for retired Members, their residence). All Members may also join Chapters outside of their principal place of business or residence for an additional fee. Each Chapter sets their own dues.

AILA Chapters serve many functions, from grassroots advocacy to member support to information sharing. Each Chapter conducts its own local meetings and elects its local chair and other officers as necessary. AILA Chapters also serve as focal points for delivering messages to and from the National Office to members and local groups, agencies, and organizations. Additional information on AILA Chapters can be found on the Chapters page of AILA.org.
