Michele Contreras is the founding and managing attorney at the Law Office of Michele Contreras. She currently is serving as a member of the AILA DOL Liaison Committee and has served as the Co-chair of the AILA H-2 Interest Group since its inception. Ms. Contreras received her JD from Rutgers University School of Law (2006).

Ashley F. Dees, AILA Business Section Steering Committee, Houston, TX

Ashley F. Dees is a Partner at BAL’s Houston office. She oversees the H-2A and H-2B temporary visa programs, crucial for businesses of all sizes across the United States. She was a member and former H-2 Visa Chair on the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) Department of Labor Liaison Committee from 2016 – 2023 and currently serves as a member on the AILA Business Section Steering Committee and speaks at various conferences throughout the year.

Jeffrey A. Devore, Palm Beach Gardens, FL

Jeffrey A. Devore is the Managing Attorney of Devore Law Group, P.A. He is the past chair of AILA’s South Florida and Latin America and Caribbean Chapters and is a former member of AILA’s Board of Governors. He presently serves as Treasurer of AILA’s Latin America and Caribbean Chapter. Mr. Devore received his JD from the Western Michigan University Cooley Law School.

Loan T. Huynh, Minneapolis, MN

Loan Huynh is the department chair for Fredrikson & Byron’s Immigration Group and is currently a member of its Board of Directors. Ms. Huynh received her J.D. from University of Houston Law Center in 1995. She served as AILA DOL Liaison Committee’s first H-2 Vice Chair from 2015-2019 Department of Labor Liaison Committee. Ms. Huynh has also served as an H-2B expert witness and H-2B Independent Monitor.
