H.R. 3120 - Student Visa Reform Act
H.R. 3192, Student Visa Reform Act, introduced by Rep. Lofgren (D-CA) on May 6, 2011, requires F visa students to attend institutions accredited by an accrediting agency recognized by the Secretary of Education. The bill also provides for a 3-year exemption for students in institutions that have been certified by DHS but not yet accredited by an accrediting agency.
