This roundtable is an introduction to the real practice of immigration law hosted by the Law Student Engagement Committee. The goal of the roundtable is to help new practitioners and law students decide which area of immigration law better suits them. We will compare the different aspects of practicing immigration law with an emphasis on what it is like practicing in each field and how to succeed. This session will specifically focus on the similarities and differences of comparing the litigation practice of immigration law, specifically distinguishing between the federal litigation aspect from the humanitarian aspect of the practice.

This roundtable is available only to AILA members and not CLE eligible.
