A successful PERM application requires paying meticulous attention to the job description and minimum requirements from the start. Every detail needs to be accurate to ensure that the rest of the PERM process will work. During this beginner seminar, our experts will provide practical tips and techniques for working with clients to draft the job description, determine the minimum requirements, and finalize the Application for Prevailing Wage Determination. They also will discuss important timing considerations and how to manage client expectations throughout the process.

Eligible participants can receive up to 1.8 CLE credit hours. AILA will administer CLE credit only to individuals who register and log into the web seminar. AILA cannot verify your attendance and participation in this program unless you register directly for the web seminar and use your name to log in to participate in the program. Therefore, persons who log in or listen in on the web seminar as part of a group will not be able to obtain CLE credit.

Bennett Savitz founded Savitz Law Offices in 2000. He has practiced immigration law exclusively since 1994, is a past Chair of the AILA New England Chapter and has served on several local and national AILA committees. He graduated cum laude from UCSD (1990). He received his MA in International Relations and his JD from Boston University (1993). He currently teaches Business Immigration Law at New England Law School, and a Graduate School course on Immigration Law and Policy at Lesley University.
