Electronic Payment Overview: How to Avoid Rejections When Using ACH Payments

As of October 2025, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) made electronic payments mandatory. As such, Form G-1650 (Authorization for ACH Transactions) was created. AILA's USCIS Operations Committee has received numerous reports of rejections and inquiries directly linked to the new payment process. This roundtable aims to serve as a space and resource to answer all questions regarding electronic payments, and ideally aid in avoiding rejections by USCIS.

This roundtable is presented by AILA's USCIS Operations Committee.

AILA Video Roundtables are free interactive learning opportunities hosted by faculty selected for their expertise, with an emphasis on discussion and Q&A.
