This quarterly call will examine emerging trends in litigation under the Federal Tort Claims Act (FTCA), with a particular focus on claims arising in the immigration enforcement and detention context.

As federal immigration enforcement continues non-citizens' rights, practitioners are increasingly navigating claims involving unlawful detention, wrongful removal, excessive force, negligent investigation, and other government misconduct. This session will explore evolving claims and case law, as well as practical strategies.
