He enjoys taking complex immigration legal concepts and breaking them down into tangible and comprehensible ideas for employers and employees. It is with this same spirit that he speaks regularly at immigration conferences across the country, serves fellow immigration attorneys as the Chair of AILA’s national liaison committee with the U.S. Department of Labor, and developed the curriculum for the business immigration course at New England Law Boston. Vince received his BA, cum laude, in Political Science from Yale University, MA in Higher Education Administration from the Boston College School of Education, and JD from the Boston College School of Law. Vince has been voted among “The Best Lawyers in America” since 2010, listed with “Who’s Who Legal Thought Leaders: Corporate Immigration,” and ranked by “Chambers & Partners Immigration Legal Rankings – Nationwide and Global.”

Bob White, AILA DOL Liaison Committee Vice Chair, Schaumburg, IL

Bob White is a partner in the Immigration Group of Masuda Funai in its Schaumburg, Illinois office. Bob has been practicing exclusively in the employment-based immigration area for more than 30 years. Bob was previously Chapter Chair of the American Immigration Lawyers Association’s (AILA) Chicago Chapter. He was also a member of AILA National’s Verification Committee and SSA Taskforce. Bob is currently Vice Chair of the AILA National’s DOL Liaison Committee. Bob was selected as 2022 Lawyer of the Year for Immigration (Chicago) by the Best Lawyers publication.

Sonal J. Mehta Verma, AILA DOL Liaison Committee, Rockville, MD

Sonal J. Mehta Verma is a Founding Member of Verma Cortes LLC, in Rockville, MD. Sonal concentrates her practice primarily on business immigration matters. She has been chosen to serve AILA on various local and national committees for over 20 years. Currently, she is a member of AILA’s Department of Labor Liaison Committee. Sonal received her J.D. from the University of Baltimore School of Law (1998).
