DHS Issues Press Release and Fact Sheet as Reminders on VWP Machine Readable Passport Requirements

The DHS press release and fact sheet remind Visa Waiver Program (VWP) travelers that, effective 10/26/04, the Bureau of Customs and Border Protection will begin enforcing the requirements that travelers (including children) applying for admission under the VWP must possess a machine readable passport. One-time exemptions may be granted.
