Exploring Moral Injury in Immigration Law

Exploring Moral Injury in Immigration Law

Moral Injury & Moral Distress are emotional and/or cognitive responses that speak to the experience a person may have when they are unable to practice in a manner that is aligned with their personal values and ethics. While these phenomena have been long studied in military and health care workers, examining Moral Injury in the context of other roles, like law practice, is a new and emerging inquiry. Join this roundtable discussion with a mental health practitioner and fellow community members to explore Moral Injury in Immigration.

This roundtable is presented by AILA's Well-Being Committee. For more well-being resources, visit AILA's Well-Being Center.
